John Skelcher

I gained a BA (hons) fine art, painting at Staffordshire University 90-93. Currently studying at The Angel Academy of Art. I have exhibited in numerous shows in London, Paris, Florence, Moscow and

St. Petersburg. I teach painting at the Le Marche Retreat in Italy. My work is held in private colelctions in Europe, US, Canada, and Australia.

Hussain

Hussain is 29 years old from Dakar, Senegal. He has been in Italy for three years, crossed from Libya with hundreds of desperate people. He paid a fortune to traffickers to get here and he is now in debt to them. He works illegally everyday as a street peddler, the money he earns pays the interest on his debts. His ambition is to free himself of debt, work legally, and have a family.
