Michele Bellini
Graduated in Decordation and Painting at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Rome, and spect six months at the Florence Accademy of Art, learning and concentrating on classical drawing and painting. He is particularly interested in the realist movement
the late 19th century and, in general, the realistic approach to painting as in other movements, such as symbolism or impressionism. He has participated in four exhibitions in Rome in 2014.

Jan is a Polish guy, about 50 years old. I often saw him walking to work where he was a bricklayer down the street in front of my window. One day I asked him if he wanted to pose for a portrait; he said it was ok and I took a pohoto and the day after I made the painting. My intention was just to make a head study in a particular reclined position, so this is not properly a portrait, but anyway he is well recognizable.
