Sandi Prentis
Has been teaching and painting for many years where she lives in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. After graduating from university she attended the National Academy of Design and Fine Art in New York
City. She has also attended the Art Student's League in New York City and the Florence Academy of Art in Italy. For the last three summers she has been an artist-in residence at Chateau Relais Borgo Santo Pietro near Sience, Italy where she teaches and paints in their beautiful gardens and landscapes during the month of September.

Cinzia is Italian and comes from Rome originally, but has been in Florence for many years. Because she suffers from depression she is unable to find work. She begs outside Carrefour (via Romana) in the afternoons. She was living in a caravan near Galuzzo, but it has become unusable over the winter.
